Ben Moss Jewellers

Ben Moss Jewellers Western Canada Ltd. is a Canadian jewellery store brand that was acquired by Charm Diamond Centres in 2017. Founded Winnipeg in 1910 by Ben Moskovich,[1] in 2010, the company had 63 stores in western and central Canada.[1] After over 100 years in business, the company announced in July, 2016 that it would be shutting down its operations including all 54 store locations. The company had been struggling to achieve profitable sales figures over a prolonged period. Their last CEO was Moss's grandson, Brent Trepel.[1]

In January 2017, Charm Diamond Centres announced it had acquired the brand rights to Ben Moss Jewellers. Charm rehired many former staff members and reopened 2 stores in Winnipeg, and also announced their intention to open several other stores in ensuing months.[2]
