Bella (Australian band)

Bella is a country music trio from the NSW Central Coast. The band was formed by Karen O'Shea, Lyn Bowtell and Kate Ballantyne and was originally called Anam Cara.[1] The group were active between 2002 and 2006.

They won Golden Guitars for Vocal Group or Duo of the Year in 2004 and 2005 for the songs "Tumblin' Down" and "About a Girl" at the Country Music Awards of Australia.[2]

All three members of Bella have performed well in the Toyota Star Maker Quest, Bowtell and Ballantyne both won and O'Shea made the grand final.[3]

In 2014, Bella reunited for a series of shows as part of their She Still Believes farewell tour.[4]
