The Bay to Birdwood concludes at the National Motor Museum in the Adelaide Hills town of Birdwood, approximately 70km from the Start. Participants and spectators can view the hundreds of entrant vehicles displayed in the grounds of the Museum. Many drivers dress in attire to match the period of their vehicle.

Bay to Birdwood Run (vehicles manufactured pre-1956)

The original 'Bay to Birdwood' Run started in 1980 and focused on vintage and veteran vehicles. This event is for vehicles manufactured prior to 31 December 1956 and regularly attracts over 1000 vehicles. It is held during even years. [1]

Bay to Birdwood Classic (vehicles from 1956 to 1986)

The Classic run was officially established in 2001, although there were two Classic runs held under the full direction of the National Motor Museum in 1997 and 1999; it focuses on motorcars and motorbikes produced between 1 January 1956 and 31 December 1986. The Classic attracts up 1750 vehicles and is held in odd years.[1]
