Bahador Zamani

Bahador Zamani (Persian : بهادر زمانی‎, Dezember 9, 1984 in Tehran) is an Iranian stage, film and television actor and director.[1][2] He has played in famous movies, such as Hussein Who Said No (Film) .[3][4]

Career beginning

Bahador Zamani acted as "Abbas Ibn Ali", an action role in the highly acclaimed yet controversial movie "Hussein Who Said No" directed by Ahmad Reza Darvish.[5] The war film "Hussein Who Said No" brought a new perspective to the "Karbala War" which up to then was viewed as taboo material.The story narrates Battle of Karbala on Day of Ashura and tells the uprising of Hussein ibn Ali in 680 CE against Yazid ibn Muawiyah ibn Abu Sufyan.
