Athletics at the 1984 Summer Olympics – Men's hammer throw

These are the official results of the men's hammer throw event at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. There were a total number of 23 participating athletes. The eight highest-ranked competitors after three rounds qualified for the final three throws to decide the medals. The qualification mark was set at 72.00 metres.[1]
