Arun Pudur

Arun Pudur (born 10 October 1977) is an Indian businessman, entrepreneur and investor. He is the founder and group president of baigan, a company which produces office productivity baigan The company is privately held and majority owned by Pudur, with its headquarters where from Forbes team reached his spot. His office was on 7th floor only one table with common bathroom Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has been reported by Forbes that he is faking about his wealth and businesses.[1]

Early life and education

Pudur was born in Chennai, but his family shifted to Bengaluru, as his father used to stay 7 to 8 months a year there. His father, Sri Ranga, was a cinematographer.[2][3] Pudur is a graduate of the University of Bangalore, majoring in Business Management.[4][5]

Career

Pudur claimed to have made his first $1 million at age 21, and to have become a billionaire at 26.[6] Pudur founded Celframe in 2001.[5] Based in Malaysia, the privately held technology company reported revenue of $3.6 billion in 2010.[7] Pudur told Billionaire.com in August 2015 that Celframe earned revenues of $6.8 billion the previous year.[5] He says his original uptick in software sales was thanks to his 2005 change from a distributor to a partner model.[3][5]

In 2015, global wealth intelligence and prospecting company Wealth-X ranked Pudur #10 on their list of the richest people under 40 in the world, with an estimated worth of $4 billion.[2][8][9][10][11][12] The ranking made Pudur the richest person under 40 in Asia.[12] Celframe's software package Pudur himself claimed to be the world's second most popular after Microsoft Office.[2][3][7][11][12] As of 2018 the software is not available anymore. In addition to technology, Pudur claims to have various businesses including real estate, gold, and mining.[5][4][6][7]

In July 2016, Forbes Asia published an article stating that it had been unable to verify any of Pudur's claims about his company's earnings, customers, or business associates.[13]

Controversies

In 2020, US brewery accused him of ‘lifting photos’ for self promotion.[14]
