Around the World in Seven Minutes and Four Times on Saturday

Around the World in Seven Minutes and Four Times on Saturday is a British television documentary produced by Robert Sidaway, telling the story of the rivalry between the cinema newsreels Pathé News and Movietone News.[1]

The documentary featured interviews with Bob Danvers-Walker and Leslie Mitchell, the newsreel announcers who became synonymous with Pathé News and Movietone News, as well as archive footage spanning over fifty years.

It was originally shown on 31 December 1985 on BBC 2 in the United Kingdom. [2]
