Armin Maier

Armin Maier bin Rafi (born 10 July 1997) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Johor Darul Ta'zim II in the Malaysia Premier League. He is a former member of Singapore national under-22 football team.[2][3]

Personal life

Maier was born in Singapore to a German father and a Singaporean mother. He also has a Malaysian grandfather which makes him eligible to play for Malaysia. His parents migrated to Germany when he was 5 years old.[4]

Maier started his career in the German club FC 07 Albstadt in his youth years.

Young Lions

In 2017, he signed with the Singapore club, Garena Young Lions for the 2017 S.League season.
