  • Óscar Carmona (1869-1951), born António Óscar Fragoso Carmona, often called António Óscar de Fragoso Carmona, 96th Prime Minister of Portugal and 11th President of Portugal (1926–1951). Also was Minister of War in 1923.
  • Antonio Carmona Añorve, director of police of Mexicali during the government of Eugenio Elorduy Walther, governor of Baja California, later arrested for collaboration with drug-dealers and organized crime.
  • Antonio Carmona Rodrigues or just Carmona Rodrigues, (born 1956), grand-nephew of Óscar Carmona, Portuguese university professor and politician. He was mayor of Lisbon and Portuguese government Minister
