Anthony Nalli

Anthony Nalli is a Canadian television producer and host of the independently produced television series The Aviators, which airs on a majority of PBS stations across the United States, on Bell TV in Canada, on Discovery Channel overseas, as well as on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon. The eighth season of the show is expected in 2020 and Anthony's production company, FourPoints Television Productions, has also produced Air Boss, Jet Truck, and AutoExotica, and in October of 2018 announced a new series, The RVers.

Anthony, an instrument-rated private pilot, began his media career as a freelance writer having written a column entitled Close Calls which was published monthly in several aviation magazines across North America including COPA Flight magazine, In Flight USA, Atlantic Flyer magazine, Canadian Aviation Journal, Cessna Pilot magazine, Pipers magazine, and Cessna Owner magazine in addition to being available online at several aviation-related websites. He became an advocate for general aviation collision avoidance after a mid-air collision occurred in Caledon, Ontario, Canada in August 2006 which killed 3 people. Shortly afterward he began Close Calls which was an aviation column detailing the "close call" experiences of fellow pilots. A "close call" was described as, "any situation where a pilot suddenly realizes the presence of a nearby aircraft that they were otherwise unaware of".[1] Followers would contact Anthony directly to anonymously share their stories with him and he would collect the details and prepare the articles, with the hopes that the experiences shared and lessons learned would be a benefit to all readers. Close Calls ended after 50 articles soon after The Aviators began to air.
