Anna Van Bellinghen

Anna Van Bellinghen (born 10 March 1994)[1] is a Belgian weightlifter. She is a bronze medalist at the European Weightlifting Championships.

Career

In 2017, she represented Belgium at the 2017 Summer Universiade held in Taipei, Taiwan in the women's 90 kg event.[2] She finished in 5th place.[2]

At the 2019 European Weightlifting Championships held in Batumi, Georgia she won the bronze medal in the women's 81 kg event.[3] At the British International Open 2019 held in Coventry, Great Britain she won the bronze medal in the women's 87 kg event.[4] In 2019, she also competed in the women's 81 kg event at the 2019 World Weightlifting Championships held in Pattaya, Thailand without winning a medal. In this competition she lifted 99 kg in the Snatch event but failed to register a successful result in the Clean & Jerk.[5]

In 2020, she won the bronze medal in the women's 81 kg event at the Roma 2020 World Cup in Rome, Italy.[1]
