Anjuman Sunnat-ul-Jamaat Association

The Anjuman Sunnat-ul-Jamaat Association (ASJA) [1][2] is the largest and most influential Muslim organisation of Trinidad and Tobago. Founded in 1936, its current president is Imam Yacoob Ali.[3] Larger than 80% of the Trinidadian Muslim belongs to Anjuman Sunnatul jamaat association. It controls 53 mosques 7 Primary School and 2 secondary schools. The members of this organization are Sunni Hanafi Muslim adhering to the  traditional practices of Mawlid[4]
