Anis Kaimkhani

Anis Kaimkhani (Urdu: انیس قائمخانی born: 5 October) is the president of Pak Sarzameen Party and was the former deputy convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).[1][2]

Anis Kaimkhani is known as the "Father of the organization".[3]

Early life and education

Anis Kaimkhani was born on 5 October in Hyderabad, Pakistan, where he also received his early education.

Political career

Working with MQM

Kaimkhani joined MQM in 1985 and rose to the position of unit in charge within two years. Then in 1987 he became the Unit-Incharge. In 1992 he was promoted to the rank of Zonal Incharge Hyderabad. Afterwards he was inducted into party's central co-ordination, Rabita Committee. In 2011 Alfaf Hussain, the chief of the MQM, selected him to be Rabita Committee's deputy convener. The party gave him many responsibilities in 2013 after which he was deducted. Then he left the party and stayed with Mustafa Kamal out of Pakistan.[4] They stayed there for three years

Comeback and formation of Pak Sarzameen Party

Anis Kaimkhani, along with Syed Mustafa Kamal, returned to Karachi on 3 March 2016 holding a press conference in a rented house at Khayaban e Sahar in Defence phase 6 Karachi on the same day at 3:00 PM. They formed a party which was called Pak Sarzameen Party. They also revealed the flag of Pak Sarzameen Party but it turned out to be the Flag of Pakistan. Later on the flag was changed.

Later on in January 2018, before the Pakistan General Election 2018, MQM asked Kamal and Kaimkhani to rejoin the party but they rejected.[5]

PSP was a great success for Kaimkhani and he became the president of the party. He is now the second most senior person in PSP and has made many speeches for it.

Greatest Jalsa of Hyderabad

Pak Sarzameen Party did the great jalsa at Hyderabad in Pakistan. Anis Kaimkhani did a great massive speech for his home place. Hyderabad's people pleased him with his entrance. Anis Kaimkhani called Hyderabad "The City Of Mustafa Kamal".

Criminal case

The Criminal Case was held in Sindh Court on 5 October 2016 in which Anis Kaimkhani got arrested.[6][7][8] Anis Kaimkhani was summoned by the Sindh Court. Kaimkhani was arrested on 18 July this year from Karachi on charges of allegedly facilitating terrorists after his bail was rejected. When Anis got bail from jail, huge number of people came to him.
