Career

He won the bronze medal in the team large hill at the 1991 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and had his best individual finish of 7th in the individual large hill at those championships. Kiesewetter has two World Cup individual career wins in 1990 and 1991. In 1991 Planica World Cup Ski Flying competition he jumped 196 meters which was at that time longest jump ever, but unfortunately he touched snow with hands, otherwise this would be world record.
