History
The airline was founded in 23 April 2008 as a new subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. By establishing AnadoluJet, it was aimed connecting Anatolia to Ankara. In this way, airport transportation was provided to more wider population as the surface area of time travels by road and rail in large countries such as Turkey is quite long.
On 4 September 2008, the airline started international flights to, the recognised only by Turkey, Northern Cyprus connecting Hatay and Ercan International Airport.
In March 2020, AnadoluJet will take over the entire international route network from Turkish Airlines at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport consisting of over 20 routes.[1]
