Amboy Airfield

Amboy Airfield is an abandoned airport in the area of Amboy, California which was used primarily during World War II. The exact date of the Airport's opening is undetermined eventhough the earliest reference to the Airfield was published on the 5 June 1925, in the Oxnard Daily Courer [1]

In the 2013 game, Grand Theft Auto V, the Airfield is based on the Sandy Shores Airfield, with the same airport layout and runway design.
