Amar Sidhu

Amar Sidhu is an American actor, producer and cosmetic surgeon. He starred as Arjun in the 2010 action film Aakhari Decision.[1][2]

Medical career

Sidhu attended the University of Washington and earned a degree in psychology and he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Tulane University.[3]. While at Tulane University, Sidhu became the president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award and was the Valedictorian of his graduating class.[3]

Sidhu began his general surgery training at Virginia Mason Medical Center with a focus in cosmetic surgery. He completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Southern California and was awarded the "Outstanding Resident Award".[3] Sidhu runs his private practice in Glendora, California.

Film career

In 2008 Sidhu introduced his production company Ancient Arrow Films and produced and starred in Aakhari Decision, an action film that was released in 2009, where he played the lead role Arjun, a contract hitman. The film was theatrically released in India and North America in 2010.[4]

He completed The Black Russian, an action-drama film using narco-terrorism as its backdrop and his science fiction movie Winter's Dream began is awaiting an early release. Sidhu has also completed a Prison film, Escape from Black Water, directed by Roger Ellis Frazier.[5]
