Allahabad City railway station
Prayagraj Rambagh railway station[1], formerly known as Allahabad City railway station is situated in Rambagh area of Allahabad in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It also a Terminal station of Allahabad. Due to huge rush at Prayagraj Junction the railway station is being developed as a highly facilitated terminal station.

History
The Allahabad-Mau-Gorakhpur Main Line was constructed as a 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) wide metre gauge line by the Bengal and North Western Railway between 1899 and 1913. It was converted to 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in) wide broad gauge in 1993–94.
