Alia Tempora

Alia Tempora is a modern metal band from the Czech Republic with a strong influence of pop, dance and dubstep music[1]. The band is characterized by its emphasis on modern prismatic image, catchy music, captivating show and fan-friendly attitude[2]. Touring in Europe and South America and being very active on social media, Alia Tempora has become internationally known by tens of thousands of fans. Leading vocalist Markie Morávková[3] is the daughter of Miloš Morávek, guitarist of bands Progres 2, Futurum, Kern and Synkopy.[4]

History

Alia Tempora was formed by Markie Morávková and Štěpán Řezníček in 2012 in Brno. The first single called "Frozen" has been published in 2013 and in November 2015 Alia Tempora released their debut album called "Digital Cube", featuring guitarist of Delain, Timo Somers[5]. The album was supported by successful crowdfunding campaign and Brno city.[6] Gustavo Sazes, famous for designing covers for bands like Amaranthe and Arch Enemy, created cover for the album.[7] The song "Mockingjay" is inspired by movie Hunger Games.[8] In 2018 Alia Tempora supported Swedish act Amaranthe on the Baltic tour in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia[9]. The most common touring destination for Alia Tempora is the United Kingdom and Western Europe[10].

Alia Tempora released their second album "Dragonfly Effect" on 21 September 2019 [11] and presented it at Masters of Rock (Ronnie James Dio Stage) and on extensive tour in Europe and Mexico.
