Ali ibn Zainab

Ali (رضي الله عنه) ibn al Aas (رضي الله عنه) or Ali ibn Zainab was a companion (by all definitions of companion) sahaba of rasool e Allah Muhammad (صَلّى اللهُ عليهِ واٰله وسلّم). He was the son of the most Superior daughter (according to a Sahih Hadieth of Mustadrak al Hakim rasool e Allah said "She is my most superior daughter because she bear a lot because of me") of rasool e Allah ((صَلّى اللهُ عليهِ واٰله وسلّم)), Zainab (رضي الله عنها) bint Muhammad (صَلّى اللهُ عليهِ واٰله وسلّم) and thus was grandson of rasool e Allah Muhammad (صَلّى اللهُ عليهِ واٰله وسلّم). He took part in many holy wars and embraced martyrdom during the battle of Yarmouk during the Caliphate of Ameer ul Momineen Umer (رضي الله عنه) in year 636. He was the one whom rasool e Allah took to his shoulder to get rid of some idols in Khana e Kabba.

Later, this event was confused and Ali (رضي الله عنه) ibn talib was taken as the one whom prophet took to his shoulder which is inaccurate considering the fact that at the time of Conquest of Makkah the age of rasool e Allah (صَلّى اللهُ عليهِ واٰله وسلّم) was 61 or 62 while Ali (رضي الله عنه) bin talib was 30 or 31 years old.
