Alex Dieringer

Alex Dieringer is an American amateur wrestler from Port Washington, Wisconsin.[1] He attended Port Washington High School.

Dieringer is a three-time NCAA champion (twice in 2016 and 2015 at 165 and once in 2014 at 157).[2] Overall he was a four-time All-American[3] for Oklahoma State University.

He won the 2016 Dan Hodge Trophy.[4][5]

Dieringer placed third in his division at the U.S. Olympic trials for the 2016 Summer Olympics, making the U.S. national team but failing to secure an Olympic spot.[6][7]

In freestyle wrestling he won the bronze medal at Ivan Yarygin GP 2019 at 79 kilos.

He won the freestyle gold medal at 79 kilos in the Dan Kolov international tournament in March, 2019
