Alevtina Tchalova

Alevtina Tchalova (Russian: Алевтина Чалова) or Alevtina Anatolievna Tchalova Bredikhina (Алевтина Анатольевна Чалова Бредихина in Russian) by her full name is a contemporary Russian painter living and working in Orenburg, Russia.

She works mostly in expressionism and figurative genre, her paintings are notable for their lyricism, finesse of implementation and original character of a drawing. The paintings of Alevtina Tchalova could be found in private collections in France and United States, they are also selling on art auctions.[1]

She was born in Uzbekistan and grew up in a beneficial environment for art ; her father, intellectual and aesthete, was inclined toward the painting.[2] She draws her inspiration in outward things and believes that the main mission of an artist is to reproduce and to communicate the poetry of a moment.

She paints using different genres and techniques, giving her preference currently to pastel, water-colour and pencil.
