Alec Utgoff

Alec Utgoff (Ukrainian: Олег Володимирович Утгоф; born 1 March 1986)[3] is a Ukrainian-English actor, who was born in Kiev, Soviet Union, modern day Ukraine. He is known for playing the role of Aleksandr Borovsky in ‘’Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’’ and Alexei in the third season of Stranger Things. His other notable roles include Alexi in San Andreas (2015),[1][4] Dmitri in Mortdecai (2015)[5] and Yuri/Dimitri in The Wrong Mans (2015).[6]

Early life

Utgoff was born in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union (now Kiev, Ukraine) to Roza, a musical conductor, and Vladimir, a heart surgeon who is an honored doctor of modern-day Ukraine.[1] In 1997, at the age of 11, he moved to London, England. His brother Alan, an economist, and his parents still live in Kiev.[2] Ethnically he is half Russian, half Ossetian.[7] He is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English.
