AirTags
AirTags is a tracking device created by Apple Inc. in 2019 or 2020, able to act as a key finder. It was accidentally revealed in April 2020, as a feature in an official Apple product support video showing it supported in the Find My iPhone user interface.[1][2][3][4][5] The product was first reported to be under development in April 2019, and in January 2020 an analyst said they were expected to be released in Q1 2020.[6] Industry watcher Redmond Pie reported in February, 2020 that Asahi Electronics was prepared to begin supplying Apple with tens of millions of ultra-wideband (UWB) parts for the AirTags in the second and third quarters of 2020.[7] Some iOS devices support UWB and are said to be compatible with AirTags.[8]
