Ahmed Bening

Ahmed Bening is a Ghanaian youth and a social commentator. He was elected as the Deputy Secretary General[1][2][3][4][5] of the Pan African Youth Union[6][7][8] in 2018 at the 5th Ordinary Congress of the Pan Africa Union in Khartoum, Sudan.[9]

Education

He attended Nandom Senior High School and University for Development Studies, Tamale.

Career

He is currently the deputy secretary-general of the Pan African Youth Union. He served on the International Organizing Committee of World Festivals of Youth and Students in Russia in 2017, Ecuador in 2013, and South Africa in 2010. He served as the secretary-general of West Africa Youth Organization between 2013 and 2015. He has served as deputy commissioner for Great Run Africa and programs director for the All Africa Students Union. He also served as the secretary for the National Union of Ghana Students.[10]

Achievements

  • Africa's most influential Youth Award by Afrabie Awards as the first Ghanaian to be awarded by the Afro-Arab Council[11]
  • Most inspirational Youth 2018 by Youth Mentors Achievers Awards, Upper West Regional Edition.[12]
