Against Their Will (band)

Against Their Will is an American rock/heavy metal band from Wilson, North Carolina.

With origins traced back to 2006, they officially launched in 2010. In 2011, prior to releasing an EP, their single "Hellward Bound" gained airplay on several international radio programs. In the following month, the song pushed the band to chart at #23 on Germany's top 200 bands in underground radio. The band has maintained a military-themed image, as well as patriotic messages and lyrics about tanks in their songs.

In November 2013, the band released their EP "American Stratofortress". On June 26, 2015, they independently released a new single titled "RED". A respective lyric video immediately followed the song's release.

After signing with Wendigo Records in the summer of 2016, the band went on hiatus as they work on completing their upcoming full-length album, which is projected for release in the Spring of 2017.

In 2019, bassist Jake Tripp has claimed that the band is currently suspended, citing "not being able to write enough songs that sound literally exactly like a bar band covering godsmack". In late 2018 he joined nu-metal band 'Cultus Black', which features several guys in masks, with a release scheduled for 2020.
