Afoxê

Afoxé is a term used to describe a secular group playing ijexá which is an Afro Brazilian candomblé (religious) rhythm originating in the state of Pernambuco. The biggest and best-known afoxé is the Filhos de Gandhy, located in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil.
