Adalbert Kovács (born 28 September 1920) was a Romanian football player who played as a striker.[1][2]

Career

While playing for Flamura Roşie Arad, on 7 March 1948, he and teammate Iosif Stibinger scored each a hat-trick in a 6–1 away victory against CSCA București, it was the first time that two players from the same team scored a hat-trick in a Divizia A match.[3] He scored his team's first goal in the 3–2 victory at the 1948 Cupa României final against CFR Timișoara, thus helping Flamura Roşie Arad win the first Cupa României in the club's history.[4]

International career

Between 1947 and 1948, he played three matches for Romania, including a 0–1 loss against Albania at the 1948 Balkan Cup.[5][6]
