Ada Rapoport-Albert

Ada Rapoport-Albert (Hebrew: עדה רפפורט-אלברט; 26 October 1945 – 18 June 2020) was an Israeli scholar who lived in the United Kingdom.[1][2][3] Rapoport-Albert got her BA and PhD in Jewish History at the University College London, where she later became an Associate Professor in Jewish History. She became in 2002 head of the department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies.[4]

She was born in Tel Aviv in Mandatory Palestine on 26 October 1945. Rapoport-Albert died in London on 18 June 2020, aged 74.[5]
