Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand
Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) is an incorporated not-for-profit organization that was established in 2002 by the Accounting Association of Australia and New Zealand (AAANZ) and the Australian Association of University Teachers in Accounting (AAUTA).[1] This organization represents the academic interests of people interested in accounting or finance, and helps develop new research to improve in this field in the Australian and New Zealand region.[2]

AFAANZ hosts an annual conference in early July in various locations throughout the region. In 2018 the conference will be held in Auckland, New Zealand.[3]
Individual or institutional memberships are available. Individual memberships can help people earn benefits and scholarships.[4] Institutional memberships help reinforce connections between AFAANZ and universities.[5]
Any AFAANZ member can have access to the AFAANZ newsletter, which is published quarterly, in March, June, September and December.
