A. C. Murali Mohan

A. C. Murali Mohan (1960-June 25, 2014), also known as Bala Murali Mohan, was a Tamil film actor who appeared in Tamil-language films. He acted in movies as well as several advertisements. He is notable for a popular commercial for Horlicks and was popularly called Horlicks Mama and for his role as Laxman in the Popular serial Thendral.[2][3][4]

Film career

He started his career in Telugu film on 1975. He has acted with heroines like Jayasudha and Jayachitra. Later he started a production company and produced a Telugu film directed by director K. Balachandar. In the early 2000s he started in a character and comedy based roles in Tamil films. He has acted more than 350 films. His role in Alli Thandha Vaanam, Minnale and Rendu were notable among his performance.

Death

He committed suicide by hanging himself from the roof on the night of 25 June 2014. He is survived by his wife Seetha Rani, and son Uma Shankar.[2][5]
