87th Brigade (United Kingdom)

The 87th Brigade was an infantry brigade formation of the British Army that saw service in World War I. It was originally formed from four Regular Army battalions serving away from home in numerous parts of the British Empire. The brigade was assigned to the 29th Division and served in the Gallipoli Campaign and the Middle Eastern theatre, later being sent to the Western Front and remaining there for the rest of the war.
