1997 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 1997 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was played from February 28-March 3, 1997 at the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri at the conclusion of the 1996–97 regular season. The Illinois State Redbirds won their 3rd MVC Tournament title to earn an automatic bid to the 1997 NCAA Tournament.
