1977–78 Al-Mina'a SC season

The 1977–78 season will be Al-Minaa's 4th season in the Iraqi National League, having featured in all editions of the competition. Al-Minaa are participating in the Iraqi National League and the Iraq FA Cup, they won the league for the first time in their history, after winning two points more than Al-Zawraa in second place.[1] The season saw the dismissal of the first coach Faleh Hassan Wasfi after scoring a draw in the first two matches and leaving the Iraqi FA Cup in the round of 16 before that,[2] and then the appointment of coach Jamil Hanoon. The league's top scorer for the season was the club player Jalil Hanoon who scored 11 goals in tournaments total.[3]
