1969 Australian Open – Men's Singles

First-seeded Rod Laver defeated Andrés Gimeno 6–3, 6–4, 7–5 in the final to win the Men's Singles tennis title at the 1969 Australian Open. William Bowrey was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Ray Ruffels.
