1968–69 Iraq Central FA Premier League
The 1968–69 Iraq Central FA Premier League was the 21st season of the Iraq Central FA League (the top division of football in central Iraq, including the capital city of Baghdad, from 1948 to 1974). Eleven teams competed in the tournament, which was played as a double-elimination tournament for the first time since the 1960–61 season. Aliyat Al-Shorta won their second league title and Al-Shorta's third. It was their second league title in a row.[1] Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya player Hisham Atta Ajaj was the league's top scorer with four goals.
