Émile Gaudreault
Émile Gaudreault (born 1964 in Jonquière, Quebec) is a Canadian film director and screenwriter.
Gaudreault studied media arts and technologies before going to work as a performer and writer for the Quebec comedy troupe Le Groupe Sanguin. He starred in Louis 19, King of the Airwaves (Louis 19, le roi des ondes), which he also co-wrote. It won the Golden Reel Award for top-grossing Canadian film in 1994. He has since written and directed two more Golden Reel winners, Wedding Night (Nuit de noces) in 2002 and Father and Guns (De père en flic) in 2010. His other credits include Mambo Italiano, Surviving My Mother (Comment survivre sa mère) and Compulsive Liar (Menteur).
