Events
United We Stand
Launched for the first time in 2015, United We Stand is a nationwide initiative by Youth Alive Australia. In previous years, Youth Alive Australia has put on large-scale events in all of the major cities in Australia, but United We Stand changed this tradition in an attempt to reach more young people for Jesus. Youth Alive Australia did this by putting on multiple events on one single night, across every state and territory in Australia. In 2015, the first year of United We Stand, over 10,000 young people attended over 50 events, all on one night across Australia.
Our Revival
Our Revival was a conference hosted by Youth Alive South Australia in 2016. The three-day conference event featured guest speaker Levi Marychurch from Arise Church in New Zealand as well as a Youth Alive band made up from a team of musicians from across the whole state. Youth Alive State Director Tim Kreis and Youth Alive National Directors Renee and Cameron Bennett also spoke across the three days.
Music
Over the years many worship albums have been released by Youth Alive. Youth Alive WA's 2006 release, is All of the Above while Youth Alive Queensland's 2006 release is titled Selfless. Youth Alive Victoria recorded an album titled Free in September 2006 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.
Youth Alive NSW released many albums in the mid to late 90's through Hillsong Music until Hillsong United began releasing their own youth worship albums in 1999. However, in 2001, Youth Alive NSW released an independent album titled Elevate which was recorded live at the Hordern Pavilion, Fox Studios in Sydney.
Youth Alive SA also released many albums as well, but with the growing popularity of the youth conference Planetshakers, then held in the same state, many of the Youth Alive musicians, including Henry Seeley and Sam Evans, wrote songs for the albums recorded at the conference. Planetshakers has since moved its ministry to Melbourne.
Youth Alive Tasmania has released one CD titled 'Mediator' in 1999. Its style was slightly different from that of other states, featuring a sound rich with brass. The album featured a studio set as well as a live set.
Youth Alive WA has released six albums from 1998:Huge; Momentum; Rescue; Long Story Short; Shout Your Glory; All of the Above; and Beautiful Lord, which was released in 2010. These albums sell Australia-wide.
Since 2017, Youth Alive Queensland has been the major contributor to the national Youth Alive music. They released their first single We the People in January 2017, which peaked at #68 on the Australian iTunes Chart.[1] This was followed up by their first EP released later in April under the same name. The EP included three live recorded songs from the Youth Alive Conference in Brisbane, as well as the single. In January 2018, Youth Alive Queensland released their second single Mad in Love / The Deep. This was followed by their first album, Mad in Love, which was recorded live at their annual conference in January. Mad in Love was released in August 2018 alongside their annual United We Stand event.
