Yip Yip Yippy is a 1939 Fleischer Studios animated short film. The short was the final official entry of the "Betty Boop" series. Although this was billed as a Betty Boop cartoon, Betty Boop herself did not appear.
Synopsis
A drugstore cowboy reads a dime novel and imagines himself as an Old West cowboy battling a cattle rustler.
Notes
- Despite no Betty, this is the last official cartoon of her series.
- When NTA retitled the film, they blocked out the original "Paramount presents a Max Fleischer Betty Boop Cartoon" opening title by putting the title card there. So, the title card is on twice.
- This cartoon was not originally supposed to be the last cartoon of the Boop series.
