Yakub

Yakub or Yaqub (Arabic: يعقوب, also transliterated in other ways, including Yaqoob, Yaqoub, Yaqub, and Yakup) is a male given name. It is the Arabic version of Jacob and James, because in fact they are the same name. In Islam, he is a Prophet (see Jacob in Islam), hence, Yakub is a common given name in Arab, Turkish, and Muslim societies. It is also used as a surname. Prophet Yakub was grandson of prophet Ibrahim and son of prophet Ishaq.

Nation of Islam

Yakub (Nation of Islam) was, according to the Nation of Islam, a black scientist who lived 6,600 years ago and created the white race. This notion has been condemned as absurd and racist.
