Υannis Vardinoyannis (Greek: Γιάννης Βαρδινογιάννης; born April 7, 1962) is a Greek of Cretan descent, the first-born son of Vardis Vardinogiannis. Αfter graduating from the Athens College High School, he continued his university studies at Vassar College where he majored in Economics.

Upon graduation he served in the Hellenic Navy. Upon completion of his navy duties, he started working for the family business, which has interests in diverse sectors such as energy, refineries, banking, shipping and media. Simultaneously, he actively pursued car racing and won 6 Greek Rally titles from 1987 till 1992, when he retired. In May 1996 he got married and now has three sons.

In 2000, while continuing to work for various family companies, he also assumed the responsibility of Panathinaikos FC succeeding his uncle Yorgos Vardinoyannis. In 2005, he was a founding member of the Greek Super League and was elected President in 2007. He has been credited in his efforts to achieve European standards in the Greek football league.

At present, among other positions he serves as the Executive Vice Chairman of the independent oil refinery Motor Oil Hellas.
