Yanitzia Canetti

Yanitzia Canetti (born 1967 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban author, translator, and editor.

Her published works include three novels (Al otro lado, La vida es color de Rosa, and "Adiós, best-seller"), a collection of narrative short stories (La muerte nuestra de cada vida), and over 500 children's books. She has also translated many well-known children's stories into Spanish, including The Berenstain Bears Save Christmas, Curious George Rides a Bike, and a number of books by Dr. Seuss. Canetti has earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, a Master's in Linguistics, and a Ph.D. in Literature. She currently resides with her husband and two sons in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.

Yanitzia Canetti is currently the president of a publishing house and educational material developer.
