Yangmingshan Administrative Bureau

Yangmingshan Administrative Bureau (Chinese: 陽明山管理局) was an administrative body set up in 26 August 1949 by the government of the Taiwan Province, Republic of China to administer Shihlin Township and Peitou Township. It was named as Tsaoshan Administrative Bureau (草山管理局) at first, and was renamed to Yangmingshan after 31 March 1950. It had been changed to be administered by Taipei after 1 July 1968; at the same time, Shihlin and Peitou restructured as districts. 1 January 1974, Shihlin and Peitou districts had been changed to be administered directly by Taipei, Yangmingshan Administrative Bureau remained to administer only tourism business. 1 January 1977, Yangmingshan Administrative Bureau got downgraded to Yangmingshan Administrative Office (陽明山管理處), a part of Department of Civil Affairs, Taipei City Government (臺北市政府民政局). January, 1980, Yangmingshan Administrative Office got downgraded again, it became Yangmingshan Park Administrative Establishment (陽明山公園管理所), a part of Parks and Street Lights Office, Public Works Department, Taipei City Government (臺北市政府工務局公園路燈工程管理處).
