Doalnara Restoration Society (돌나라한농복구회) was established in South Korea in 1980 in accordance to the teachings of Teacher Suk Sun. A society of people who follow Heaven’s Providence [with unchanging heart and character as firm as stone] forms Doalnara.[1]

Doalnara developed 10 organic farms in Korea (pollution-free communities), and there are also Doalnara regions outside of Korea, including in the United States, Japan, China, Uzbekistan, Russia, Kenya, the Philippines, and Brazil.

Key Principles

Doalnara’s principles are based on lessons by Teacher Suk Sun, whose teachings include:

First: When you trace back to the origins and root of humanity, we all came from the same parents and are one family. This is not just a sentiment or theory.

Second: All of humanity's countless troubles and problems originate from our hearts. Eliminating selfishness in the heart will change the earth into a happier world.

Third: The true happiness humanity seeks is fulfilled when our household becomes a “mini-heaven”. Not when we "go to" heaven.

Doalnara Lifestyle

Because all people are one family, instead of using titles such as president, chairman, bishop, or any authoritarian titles, more fitting titles to family members, such as brother, sister, mother, father, aunt, and uncle, are used instead. When a title is necessary in taking responsibilities for specific activities, along with an accepted title, the person would be addressed as the family member who is in the position to humbly serve others with brotherly love.

Doalnara members observe the Sabbath, from Friday evening to Saturday evening, to enjoy Heaven’s countless blessings in accordance with the fourth of the Ten Commandments which says to, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”[2] On this day, family members gather to respect God and love others by giving thanks and praise to our Heavenly Parents and spending quality time together.

New Agriculture: Respecting the Land

All Doalnara regions throughout the world adhere to agricultural practices that value the soil and seek to understand nature (instead of using conventional agricultural practices which has a propensity to focus on convenience and economics). Instead of using chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and/or herbicides, Doalnara only uses organic farming methods with environmental restoration as its highest priority. As a result, all products grown by Doalnara are free from agricultural chemicals.

New Diet: Respecting Our Bodies

Doalnara eats a diet of saints, a natural diet, crucial in that a “Healthy diet = Healthy body = Healthy mind.”[3] Doalnara members eat foods full of vitamins and minerals grown from unharmed and unsprayed soil. Besides sharing and consuming fresh foods, by research and development, Doalnara also uses its produce to make various health food products.

The Strength of Doalnara: The Decalogue

Doalnara keeps the Ten Commandments, but the commandments are simplified into an easier-to-understand sentence: “With your heart, love your Heavenly Real Parents who begot you, and do not fight with your brethren but live happily.” By this, Doalnara families, schools, and communities thrive. Doalnara communities do not have or support the use of alcohol, tobacco, violence, verbal and physical abuse, agricultural chemicals, chemical additives, and the like.

Vision

Doalnara aspires to develop and sustain the inner-value of man, which creates true strength that moves the world; monetary wealth or external success is not a goal because it is one's mentality which actually protects individuals, societies, and nations.

Doalnara is a nation filled with hope and continues with its efforts today for all global citizens to have the opportunity to attain new purpose and new health.
