Women's football in Israel is growing in popularity but many of the best female players have to play abroad to improve their skills.[1]
One of the barriers that prevent the sport growing is that many women experience prejudice for playing the sport.[2][3]
The Israel Football Association (IFA) is the governing body of football in the State of Israel. All of Israel's professional football clubs must be members, and hundreds of semi-professional and amateur clubs also belong.[4][5]
