Bayview is a suburb of Auckland in New Zealand. The area was included into the North Shore ward in 2010, one of the new thirteen administrative areas of the new Auckland Council.
The northern part of the suburb, also known as Glendhu, had a population of 5,127 in the 2006 census, an increase of 333 from 2001.[1] The southern part, also known as Witheford Heights, which had a population of 3,012 in the 2006 census, an increase of 384 from 2001.[2]
Education
Bayview School is a coeducational contributing primary (years 1-6) school with a decile rating of 7 and a roll of 374 students.[3] The adjoining Bayview Community Centre has an Early Learning Centre for pre-schoolers.
Manuka Primary School is a coeducational contributing primary school (years 1-6) with a decile rating of 6 and a roll of 323.[4] The school was founded in 1968.[5]
