William Barton (English cricketer)

William Barton (16 January 1777 – 7 January 1825) was an English cricketer who played mainly for Middlesex.

He was born at Finsbury in Middlesex in 1777. Little is known of Barton personally but he was an accomplished batsman and an occasional wicketkeeper. His known career of 37 first-class cricket matches was from 1795 to 1817.[1] He died at Westminster in London in 1825.[1]
