William Douglas De Amorim (born 5 December 1991) is a Brazilian-born Romanian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Apollon Limassol, on loan fromFCSB.
Club career
Astra Giurgiu
On 6 November 2014, De Amorim scored his first goal in UEFA Europa League, netting in the 81st minute for a 1–1 home draw against Celtic Glasgow.[1]
FCSB
On 13 August 2016, FCSB announced the signing of Amorim for an undisclosed fee, with the player agreeing to a five-year deal with a €10 million buyout clause.[2]
International career
After receiving a Romanian passport, De Amorim became eligible to play for Romania. He said he would be happy to represent Romania at international level.[3]
Personal life
William De Amorim lives in Romania since he was 18. On 27 May 2016, De Amorim obtained Romanian citizenship.[4] He is a married man and Christian.[5]
