Where Heaven and Earth Meet

Where Heaven and Earth Meet: Jerusalem's Sacred Esplanade is a 2010 book about the Temple Mount edited by Oleg Grabar and Benjamin Z. Kedar and published by the University of Texas Press.

Where Heaven and Earth Meet is the joint product of professors who teach at Al Quds University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Dominican Seminary in Jerusalem.[1] While the book was in press, the board of Al-Quds University decided to boycott Israeli academic institutions, but did not insist that publication be canceled.[2]

The opinions of the scholars in these essays is divided; "Muslim contributors.... seem disinclined to recognize a Jewish claim to the Temple Mount."[3]
