Walter L. Ward Jr.
Walter L. Ward Jr. was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.[1]
Biography
Ward was born on October 28, 1943 in Camp Forrest in Tullahoma, Tennessee.[2] He graduated from the Rufus King International School - High School Campus before attending Milwaukee Area Technical College, the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and Marquette University.
Career
Ward served in the Wisconsin Assembly from 1972 to 1979 and was a Democrat.[3]
Ward was convicted of sexual assault an sentenced to four years in prison.[4]
He was also convicted of filing false campaign reports in 1980 and sentenced to 30 days in county jail. In the next primary he was defeated and did not run again.[5]
